7. To flush the tubing, prepare procedure as follows:
a. Open the water bottle.
b. Disconnect the tubing cap from the cleaning solution bottle.
c. Put the cleaning tubing in the water bottle.
d. Close the tubing cap of the water bottle.
e. Close the cleaning solution bottle.
8. Push OK (or ENTER) to start the flushing procedure.
Wait until the procedure is completed.
9. Disconnect the sample pump from the water bottle as follows:
a. Disconnect the cleaning tubing with the fitting from the sample pump.
b. Disconnect the cleaning tubing cap from the water bottle.
c. Close the water bottle.
d. Connect the sample pump tubing to the overflow vessel.
10. Push OK (or ENTER) to stay in maintenance mode or start operational mode.
The counter is automatically set to zero.
5.5 Prepare the filter module for storage
Do the steps that follow to remove the filter module from operation for an extended period (more than
one day).
1. For an SC4500 Controller, do the steps that follow:
a. Select the main menu icon, then select Devices.
b. Select NH6000SC > Device menu > Maintenance.
2. For an SC1000 Controller, do the steps that follow:
a. Select the main menu button from the pop-up toolbar.
b. Select SENSOR SETUP > NH6000SC > MAINTENANCE.
3. Push Start maintenance mode (or START MAINTENANCE MODE) to put the instrument into
maintenance mode.
4. Push OK (or ENTER).
5. Select Configuration (or CONFIGURATION) > Sampling (or SAMPLING) > Channel 1 -
Internal sampling (or CHANNEL 1 INT) to set the sample filtration to OFF.
6. Push OK (or ENTER).
7. Remove the filter holder from the process.
