1. For an SC4500 Controller, do the steps that follow:
a. Select the main menu icon, then select Devices.
b. Select NH6000SC > Device menu > Maintenance > Cleaning > Filter module cleaning.
2. For an SC1000 Controller, do the steps that follow:
a. Select the main menu button from the pop-up toolbar.
b. Select SENSOR SETUP > NH6000SC > MAINTENANCE > CLEANING > FILTER MODULE
CLEANING.
3. Push OK (or ENTER).
4. Remove the FX6x0 from the basin.
5. Push the release button and pull out the filter. Refer to
6. Put the filter module into the cleaning tub.
Do not scratch the filter membrane.
7. Pour water on one side of the filter module.
8. Use the silicone or TPE brush to carefully remove the sludge from the filter module.
Note: Do not scratch the surface of the filter module.
9. Pour water on the second side of the filter module.
10. Use the silicone or TPE brush to carefully remove the sludge from the filter module.
Note: Do not scratch the surface of the filter module.
11. Flush the filter module with clean water.
12. Discard the water.
13. Pour a small quantity of cleaning agent (approximately 120 to 150 mL) equally on the filter.
14. Use the silicone or TPE brush to apply the cleaning agent equally.
15. Wait for two minutes (minimum).
The biological adhesive layer dissolves during the waiting time.
16. Use the silicone or TPE brush to clean the filter module.
17. Turn the filter module and do steps
Note: Make sure not to spill the cleaning agent.
18. Hold the filter module vertical to drain the cleaning solution.
19. Rinse the two sides of the filter module with clean water.
20. Install the filter module in the filter holder.
21. Make sure that the filter module locks into place.
Note: Pull one or two times on the filter module to make sure that the filter module is correctly engaged.
22. Put the filter holder back into the process.
23. Discard all chemicals and disposable items in accordance with local regulations.
24. Rinse the brush and the cleaning tub with clean water.
25. Dry the cleaning tub with a disposable cloth.
26. Use a disinfectant to clean all of the tools used.
27. On the SC Controller, complete the procedure.
The analyzer will prepump the sample and reagents.
28. Push OK (or ENTER) to enter operational mode or the analyzer will stay in maintenance mode.
