equipment appropriate to the chemicals that are handled. Refer to the current safety data sheets
(MSDS/SDS) for safety protocols.

5.1 Examine for damage
Frequently examine all of the components for damage. Replace components with damage
immediately.
5.2 Clean the filter module
Biological hazard. Obey safety handling protocols and wear all of the personal protective equipment
required when handling an instrument that may have come in contact with biological hazardous
materials. Wash and decontaminate the instrument with a disinfectant soap solution and rinse with
hot water before maintenance or shipping.

Clean the filter module at approximately at 3-month intervals or as necessary, based on the degree
of fouling of the filter. During the procedure, the analyzer is set to maintenance mode, which stops

high iron concentrations) as a cleaning agent. Refer to the written and illustrated steps that follow.
