TRANSMISSION:
• Oil the chain regularly.
• Brush the sprockets and chainrings.
• To clean the transmission components, use special transmission oil.
• You need to lubricate components for them to work properly, ensure their optimal lifespan and avoid component corrosion.
• When maintaining the gears, be careful not to pinch your fingers between the sprockets and the chain.
• If changing an item, always make sure you exchange it with original parts.
• Be sure to protect the brake discs and pads before servicing your chain. Otherwise, oil may accumulate on the discs and pads and reduce braking performance.
If oil has been in contact with the pads, change them immediately before using the bicycle.
WHEELS:
• Regularly check the wheels, especially the rims (excessive wear, deformation, dents and cracks). Feel free to contact a Decathlon workshop for a wheel analysis
and part replacement if necessary.
• Check the tyres regularly for pressure, cuts, cracks or pinching. Replace the tyre if necessary. Install tyres in the direction indicated on the sidewall, according
to the direction of rotation arrow. Inflate tyres to the correct pressure to avoid punctures. The pressure is always indicated on the side of the tyre and/or rim by
the manufacturer. If the pressure is indicated on both the rim and the tyre, inflate the tyres with the maximum pressure indicated on the rim independently of the
maximum pressure indicated on the tyre. The rims may have a different and lower maximum pressure than the tyres.
• When changing tyres, pedals or the crank on your bicycle, the distance between the pedal axle and the wheel may change. Make sure you respect the original
characteristics of your bike to avoid any problems.
ACCESSORIES:
Accessories such as mudguards, crutches, bottle holders, frame locks, lighting (list of items to choose from depending on the bike) are subject to numerous vibrations in use.
Remember to regularly check the fixing screws and tighten them if necessary following the tightening recommendations mentioned in the TIGHTENING TORQUE section
of this manual.
Change the lighting batteries when its charge indicator lights up.

the installation does not prevent from pedaling.
• Never exceed the maximum load that the bicycle can support.
• Only luggage can be transported safely on the luggage rack.
• You must not modify the luggage rack in any way.
• It is not designed to tow a trailer or similar transport device.

avoid water infiltration into the connectors, which could damage your bike.
• Lithium batteries are considered hazardous materials and must be transported in accordance with current regulations.
• The plane transportation of the electric bike is not allowed.
• It is best to hang the bike by the front wheel during transport and/or storage in order to preserve the hydraulic braking system.

• Please refer to the user manual of the bike carrier to check whether the carrier can support the weight of the bike.
• Please note that when the rack is loaded, the bike behaves differently when
driving or braking.
