Chapter 1 General Introduction
1.1 Intended Use
MASTER PALM 3® handheld pulse oximeter is intended for continuously
monitoring or spot checking of SpO
and neonatal patient.
This device can be used in institutions or units with health care capability. For
instance, outpatient departments, emergency rooms and departments of internal
medicine in hospitals, and ordinary departments in clinics, nursing hospitals and
medical institutions for communities as well as home care.
