DANGER! Danger of fire! Spilled
fuel can set the product on fire.
Carefully wipe up any spilled fuel up
before starting.
Start the product a minimum of nine
metres away from where you filled it.
Before starting, it must be guaran-
teed that none of the two clutch
levers can be actuated unintention-
ally.

Cold starting the motor
– Slightly press fuel pump (16) approx. 3×.

Note: Pull the pull-starter max. 50
cm out and let it run back in slowly by
hand.
– Slow pull out the pull starter (11) until you
feel a resistance, then quickly and force-
fully, until the initial ignition noise can be
heard.
– Pull out the pull starter again quickly and
forcefully until the motor starts up.
– Allow the engine to warm up for approx.
10–15 seconds.

tion.

Switch on the cutter
• The cutter may not move if the clutch
lever (6) is released.
• The clutch lever (6) can be actuated only
after the safety lock (7) is activated.
• Upon activation, the cutter (11) must start
running and stop upon release.

– Actuate the clutch lever (6) for cutter
slowly up to the limit stop.
– Hold the clutch lever (6) firmly during
operation.

Allow the engine to run warm before
starting up.
Ensure that the respective ventilation
slots (15) do not get clogged with cut
material and as such the engine is no
longer cooled sufficiently.
– Slowly engage and firmly hold clutch
lever for travel guide (4) up to the stop.
Device starts.
Persistence
Note: Allow engine to run for few
minutes for drying before starting up.

Information on mowing
• Steer the product at an even, slow speed
(walking pace) in the straightest lines
possible.
• Always work across slopes where possi-
ble.
• Do not cut wet grass if possible.
• Overlap the mowing lines slightly for an
even appearance.
