Assembly
► P. 4, item 2
– Pull off the ignition cable connector (18).
► P. 4, item 3
– Attach the wheel (1) to the axle and
tighten with screw and nut as shown.
Note: The clutch cables must be
clearance-free in case of released
clutch lever, however must not be
tight. It must be possible to push
down the clutch lever completely.
– Insert the drive unit for cutter (30) as
shown including V-belt (31) in engine
housing as shown.
– Secure the drive unit for cutter respec-
tively with spring (32).
– Pull the V-belt (31) onto belt pulleys as
shown pull.

– Insert sliding block (26) into the cut-
ter (11).
– Fix the cutter (11) with sliding block (26)
with four screws (36) and nuts on the
drive unit.

– Mount the arm housing (8) and screw it
with two screws (28) on each side as
shown.

– Mount the protective cover (9) and fix it
with two screws (29).

– Mount the upper part of handle (3) as
shown and install the control cable with-
out tension.
Adjust the sliding block
WARNING! Risk of injury! Make
sure that the cutting tool guard is
installed on the cutter (11).
NOTICE! Product damage! The
sliding block (26) must always be
correctly adjusted. An incorrect
adjustment can result in the cutter
jumping out of the guide (25) or dam-
age being caused to the cutting
tool (11).

– Pull off the ignition cable connector (18).

– Secure the adjustment screw (24) against
turning with a suitable tool.
– Loosen the nut (23) with a suitable tool.
– Change the height of the adjustment
screw (24) by turning.
– Protect the adjustment screw (24)
against turning with a suitable tool and
tighten the nut (23) again using an appro-
priate tool.
