  • Page 14 MODE D’EMPLOI 12 / 64 TW 230VTR PRÉPARATION AU BROYAGE AVERTISSEMENT • Vérifier que le broyeur fonctionne sans à‐coups. • Défaire les crochets du bac d’alimentation et abaisser. • Effectuer les tests « Avant d’utiliser le broyeur » (voir page 11).
  • Page 15 En cas d’endommagement, ou si le ou les tranchants sont émoussés, changez les couteaux. Le broyeur TW 230VTR est doté de 2 couteaux de 13,5 cm de longueur. Neufs, leur longueur est de 10 cm. Une lame neuve peut être utilisée en principe pendant 25 heures avant de nécessiter un affûtage.

Read and understand this instruction manual before attempting to operate the chipper. In particular, read pages 5‐6 which contain important health and safety information and advice.

  • Page 57 CHECK FITTINGS The Timberwolf TW 230VTR is subject to large vibrations during the normal course of operation. Consequently there is always a possibility that nuts and bolts will work themselves loose. It is important that periodic checks are made to ensure the security of all fasteners.

In dirty and dusty conditions or during periods of hard work it should be daily. If the bearings and splines are allowed to run dry premature wear will occur resulting in a breakdown and the need for replacement parts.

  • Page 65 SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS 24 / 64 TW 230VTR TRACK LOOSENING/TIGHTENING PROCEDURES Track tension is maintained by grease in the adjuster unit. Adding more grease will increase track tension, removing grease will decrease it. The grease contained in the hydraulic track tensioner ram is pressurised.
