NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
To set the motor using the setting screws
(A) and (B) please do not use any electri-
cally-powered screw fixing devices (e.g. a
cordless screwdriver); only turn screws
manually - even if that takes some time.
The adjustment is very sensitive. Please
only turn the screw a half-turn each time
and then check the corresponding stop
point. A full turn corresponds to approxi-
mately 2.5 cm more/less travel. If the set-
ting screws are overtightened that will
cause a defect in the motor electronics
that we can detect and will result in refusal
of any warranty claims.
– Use the tool provided to make the adjustments.
The setting screw (A) is used to set the end deactiva-
tion when the awning is retracted. Rotate the screw in
the (+) direction to extend the operating time, rotate in
the (-) direction to shorten the operating time.
Example:
The motor continues to operate with the awning is
fully retracted, rotate the setting screw (A) in the (-)
direction.
The adjustment screw (B) is used to set the end
deactivation when the awning is extended. Rotate the
screw in the (+) direction to extend the operating
time, rotate in the (-) direction to shorten the operat-
ing time.
Example:
The motor stops operating with the awning not fully
retracted, rotate the setting screw (B) in the direction
(+). The correct setting is determined by extending
and retracting the awning multiple times.
CAUTION! Product damages! When
the front cover hits the roller, the maxi-
mum end position has been reached.
CAUTION! Product damages! The fab-
ric must be tensioned and must not sag.
Adjust the hinged arms
CAUTION! Potential risk of injury! The
adjustment of the hinged arm must be
performed by two people.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
Make sure that the awning extends hori-
zontally. If this is not the case, adjust the
angle of inclination of the hinged arm.
When loosening the setting screws make
sure that the hinged arms are not under
pressure. Uneven retracting/extending
can result in the deformation of the awn-
ing. The hinged arm should also be read-
justed if the awning clicks or creaks during
the extending or retracting movement.
– Extend the awning by 5 cm.
– Loosen the 2 screws on the mount for the arm, but
do not remove them completely.
– One person supports the hinged arm to ensure
that it is horizontal.
– The other person tightens the loosened screws up
again (alternating between the top and bottom
screws).
WARNING! Potential risk to life and
risk of injury! The awning's hinged arms
are under very high spring tension.
Disassembly of the awning may result in
serious injury. Please contact your dealer
if the hinged brackets do not function
properly.
Note: In case of a fault with the electrical
drive unit, retract the awning using the
hand crank.
Note: For perfect operation of the awning,
we recommend you lubricate or oil the
hinged elements between the hinged
arms at regular intervals.
Note: After multiple uses of the awning,
either one or both of the hinged arms may
hang at the wrong angle or unevenly. If
this happens, the hinged arms must be
readjusted.
Cleaning and maintenance
NOTICE! Potential damage to the awn-
ing fabric! Ripples in the vicinity of the
hem, seam and panels is the result of mul-
tiple ply fabric and different wrapping
thickness on the cloth spindle. The
stretching in the material that results may
produce patterns on the fabric.
Ripples from wrapping next to the seam
on the rolled up and unrolled cloth are
caused by double ply material in the vicin-
ity of the stitching.
► Cleaning – p. 7
The awning should be retracted when leaving even
for a short time or if wind is anticipated.
If the awning becomes wet, extend as soon as possi-
ble to allow it to dry. Unsightly spots may appear if wet
awning fabric is rolled up for longer periods of time.
The awning fabric can be cleaned by dry brushing.
Remove persistent dirt and stains with warm soapy
water and a brush. Allow fabric to dry before retract-
ing.
Storage, disposal
Storage
NOTICE! Potential damage to the awn-
ing fabric! Do not expose the awning to
wet weather conditions unnecessarily!
For long-term storage keep the awning in a dry area.
Disposal
Disposing of the device
A crossed-out wheelie bin icon means: Bat-
teries and rechargeable batteries, electrical
or electronic devices must not be disposed of
with household waste. They may contain
substances that are harmful to the environ-
ment and human health.
