4. Operation
4.1 Setting the water fill level height
1. Remove the valve
2. Loosen the wing nut on the float arm of the valve
3. Set the height of the float
4. Re-tighten the wing nut on the float arm of the
5. Re-attach the valve cover
5. Maintenance and repairs
• Check the status of the drinking system at regular intervals. Damaged equipment or heating cable
must not be used or operated any longer.
• Disconnect the drinking system from the electricity supply during periods when frost is unlikely (e.g. in summer).
• Keep drinking bowl and cables free of dust and contamination.
• Clean the drinking bowl and cables using only a soft cloth or damp towel. The cloth or towel should be free
of petrol and/or other solvents, since these can attack or damage the plastic.
