- Do not operate the device if there are people (especially children) or animals in the immediate
vicinity.
- Stop working if you notice that there are people (especially children) or pets nearby.
- Always keep hands and feet away from moving blades, especially when switching on the hedge
trimmer.
- Avoid abnormal posture. Ensure a safe

unexpected situations and better control on particularly steep slopes.
- Do not operate the hedge trimmer in an explosive atmosphere where there are flammable liquids,
gases or dust. The hedge trimmer can produce sparks that can ignite the dust or fumes.
- Be especially careful when walking backwards. There is a risk of tripping!
- Only walk at walking pace.
- Never leave the device unattended during work breaks and store it in a safe place.
- Keep all parts of your body away from the cutting blade. Do not attempt to remove cuttings or hold
material to be cut while the blade is running. Remove jammed

- Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle when the blade is not moving. When transporting or storing
