⁄ Protection against backflow is provided by two check
valves. The check valves should be inspected yearly
and replaced when dirty or worn.
This product is intended only for public spaces.
⁄ This faucet does not include a drain or a pull rod.
⁄ Flush the hot and cold supplies thoroughly before in-
stalling the faucet. Damage to the faucet caused by
debris is not covered under the warranty.
⁄ The hot and cold supplies should be of equal pressure.
⁄ The faucet should not be used with a continuous flow

⁄ Do not install the faucet on a sink with a raised edge.

⁄ The faucet incorporates automatic range adjustment --
the sensor automatically adjusts itself to local conditions
(lavatory, brightness, etc.)
⁄ The distance between the switch on/off point to the
faucet is approx. 6¼" - 8" under normal conditions.
The detection area may be less for dark, non-reflective
objects, or greater for bright, highly reflective objects.
If the sink is very small or highly reflective, fol-
low the RANGE REDUCTION INSTRUCTIONS
(page 11). When the faucet is in reduced
range mode, the LED in the sensor window will
flash while the faucet is not in use.
⁄ Drops of water or condensation on the sensor window
may cause the faucet to run.
The spray pattern will be unattractive immediately
after installation or service, due to air in the faucet.
After the faucet is used 10 - 15 times, the spray
pattern will clear.

⁄ At the start of operation, or after maintenance, function
of the faucet may be delayed due to reflections during
adjustment of the operating distance. The faucet will au-

H YGIE N E RIN SE
The hygiene rinse opens the faucet for 10 seconds every
24 hours following the last use.
To enable or disable the hygiene rinse:
⁄ Disconnect the electrical plug connection between fit-
ting and battery housing. During this time, briefly reach
with your hand into the detection area of the sensor
window so that the capacitor discharges. Restore the
power connection after 10 seconds.
⁄ The LED blinks to indicate the software version (e.g.
blinking once = software version 1).
⁄ The LED will come on constantly while the faucet cali-
brates.
⁄ Cover the sensor window completely with your hand or
a piece of white paper for 5 - 10 seconds. Water will
flow from the faucet for 5 seconds.
E N G L I S H
WAIT FOR THE LED TO GO
OUT.
⁄ Uncover the sensor window.
⁄ The currently enabled mode is indicated by the flash-
ing of the LED: 1 x = hygiene rinse is enabled, 2 x =
disabled.
⁄ A subsequent change of operating mode is possible
again after calibration.
⁄ The fitting returns to normal operation 60 seconds after
the last change of operating mode.
