VISOR (NMS-05S OR NMS-05L,
DEPENDING ON HELMET SIZE)
1 DISASSEMBLY
1.1 Close the chin guard (if open) and set
the visor in completely open position.
1.2 Push the release lever of the left
side mechanism completely backwards
(Fig.6) and simultaneously push the visor
forward initially projecting the top hook
"A"
(Fig.7A) and then the lower hook "B" from
the corresponding seats in the side
mechanism (Fig.7B).
1.3 Follow the previous operations on the
right side of the helmet.
2 ASSEMBLY
2.1 Close the chin guard (if open) and
check that the side mechanisms are in full
opening position (Fig. 8).

2.2 Place the visor left side on the cor-
responding side mechanism by inserting
the visor inner pin into the mechanism
central housing (Fig.7B).
2.3 Rotate the visor towards the side
mechanism by inserting the top hook "A"
into the corresponding seat in the side
mechanism itself so that the release lever
retracts and then returns to its position,
hooking the visor to the side mechanism
with a click (Fig.7A).
2.4 Follow the previous operations on the
right side of the helmet.
2.5 Close the visor completely.
WARNING : Check that the

mechanisms are working properly.
Open and then close the visor:
by raising the chin guard, the visor will
remain in its maximum open position.
If necessary, follow the previous
operations mentioned above.
- Check that the mechanisms are
working properly: open and close the
visor, making sure that it is retained
firmly to the side mechanisms; open
the chin guard and check that the
visor opens and remains in full opening

position; close the visor and check
that the chin guard closes back to the
maximum open position.
If necessary, follow the previous
operations mentioned above.
- Do not use the helmet if the visor has
not been properly assembled.
- Do not remove the side mechanisms
from the chin guard.
- Should any of the side mechanisms fail
or be damaged, please contact a SHARK
authorised dealer.
3 MINIMUM OPENING POSITION
WITH DEFOGGING FUNCTION
Visor mechanisms allow the visor to have
stable intermediate positions. Starting
from the full closing position of the visor,
it is possible to open it slightly by placing
it in a stable minimum opening position to
improve ventilation and facilitate defog-
ging, especially at low speeds or during
