If the text THIS SIDE UP points upwards:
u Insert the lip of the cover over the opening of the rear
bracket (1) and click into place (2).
u Position the cover where you want it (see 8.7 Adjusting
the moisture levels) .
8.7 Adjusting the moisture levels
You can adjust the moisture in the drawer yourself by
adjusting the compartment cover.
The compartment lid is attached to the drawer and can be
hidden by a shelf or additional drawers.

Low air humidity
u Open the drawer.
u Slide the compartment cover forwards.
w With the drawer closed: Gap between the cover and the
compartment.
w The air moisture in the Safe decreases.
High air moisture
u Open the drawer.
u Slide the cover back.
w With the drawer closed: The cover seals the compart‐
ment.
w The air moisture in the Safe increases.
If there is too much moisture in the compartment:
u Choose the setting "low air moisture".
-or-
u Remove any excess moisture with a cloth.

8.8.1 Using the ice cube tray

When the water is frozen:
u Hold the ice cube tray briefly under warm water.
u Remove the lid.
u Gently twist the ends of the ice cube tray in opposite
directions.
u Release the ice cubes.
8.8.2 Disassembling the ice cube tray
The ice cube tray can be disassembled for cleaning and for
removing the ice cubes.

u Lift the ice cube tray by the tab and open it.
9 Maintenance
9.1 Carbon filter
The carbon filter is located in the compartment above the
fan.
It guarantees the best air quality.
Replace the carbon filter every 6 months.

When the reminder is set, a message on the display
prompts you to change it.
The carbon filter can be disposed of with the regular

household waste.
