INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PE2CBK—Brackets for Cast Fronts
installation on PE2 Electric Fireplace
NOT FOR USE WITH GAS MODEL FIREPLACES
The PE2CBK kit contains brackets to install on the PE2
Valor Electric Fireplace when using one of the following
cast fronts:
• 549AFBv2 or 549AFPv2—Windsor Arches
• 536CXBI—President Cast Front
• 263RCB—Richmond Cast Front
These cast fronts (and optional closure plates) are
primarily used on gas fi replaces installations and
therefore contain some components that are not
required when installing on electric fi replaces.
Each section of this manual will cover the installation of
one of these front and associated brackets required for
that particular cast front.
WARNING
DO NOT USE this bracket kit to mount the
cast fronts to a gas appliance.
Cavity Floor and Wall Finish
An uneven wall may result in uneven fi t. To ensure
a proper fi t of the cast front, the wall fi nish must be
even and perpendicular to the fl oor surface on which
the cast front will rest. Leveling bolts should be used
if necessary; they are provided with the fi replace
(packaged separately).
