Maintenance
Do a check of the parking
brake.
Do a check of the safety sys-
tem.
Start the engine and blades
and listen for unusual sounds.
Clean the bottom side of the
cutting deck.
Clean around the engine.
Clean around the belts and the
belt pulleys.
Do a check of the battery con-
nections.
Do a check of the throttle cable
and choke cable.
Do a check of the caster
wheels.
Change the hydraulic oil.
Replace the hydraulic oil filter.
Do a check of the belts and the
belt pulleys.
Do a check of the muffler and
spark arrestor screen.
Sharpen or replace the blades.
Replace the fuel filter.
Disassemble and examine the
starter.
Do a check or clean the engine

air inlet screen.
Clean the air cleaner paper ele-
ment.
Clean dust and dirt from the en-
gine cylinder and cylinder head

fins.
Tighten the engine nuts and
screws.
Replace the engine oil.
