CLEANING, MAINTENANCE, STORAGE, DISPOSAL
Danger due to electrical voltage! Handling the machine with the power supply up
may result in serious injury or death. For this reason, always disconnect the machine
from the power supply before cleaning, servicing or maintenance work and secure it
against accidental start-up!
13.1
Cleaning
Wrong cleaning agents can attack the varnish of the machine. Do not use solvents,
nitro thinners, or other cleaning agents that could damage the machine's paint.
Observe the information and instructions of the cleaning agent manufacturer!
Regular cleaning is a prerequisite for the safe operation of the machine and its long service life.
Keep the surfaces and ventilation slots of the machine free of dust and dirt. For cleaning, use a soft
cloth and a mild soap solution and, if necessary, a damp-free jet of compressed air.
13.2
Maintenance
The machine is low-maintenance and only a few parts have to be serviced. Nevertheless,
malfunctions or defects which could impair the safety of the user must be rectified immediately!
Regularly check that the safety devices on the machine are in perfect and functional
condition.
Only use perfect and suitable tools.
Only use original spare parts recommended by the manufacturer.
13.2.1
Maintenance and servicing plan
The type and degree of machine wear depends to a large extent on the operating conditions. The
following intervals apply when using the machine within the specified limits:

13.2.2
Dressing the corundum grinding stone
Depending on the type of grinding you do, the grinding stone may require periodic dressing.
If the diameter of the grinding stone will be smaller the set angle with the angle
template will be different!
A dressing tool of HOLZMANN-MASCHINEN GmbH can be used to restore the grinding stone edge
back to a square form quality of the stone surface and bring the stone edge back to a square form.

Loosen nut and washer (2)
Remov the old grinding stone
Place the new grinding stone (1) onto the drive shaft and fix it with
washer and nut (2)
Loosen the fixing screw and washer (2)
Remove the old eather honing wheel
Place the new leather honing wheel (1) onto the drive shaft
Pay attention that the slots engage on the wheel and shaft into each
other
Fix the leather honing wheel with washer and fixing screw (2)
