Checking scope of delivery
Always note visible transport damage on the delivery note and check the machine immediately
after unpacking for transport damage or missing or damaged parts. Report any damage to the
machine or missing parts immediately to your retailer or freight forwarder.

Operating instructions
Grinding direction:
It depends on your requirements whether you work with or against the direction of grinding.
Against the direction of the grinding stone:
Quickly removing of large quantity of material (e.g. rusty tools)
Grinding of coarse tools (e.g. axes)
In direction of the grinding stone:
Precisely removing of material
Grinding of carving tools, knives
Check before each operation whether the surface of the grinding stone is even. If necessary, dress
the grinding stone.
Speed:
The speed depends on the required result. For grinding, a speed in the lower range is more
suitable. For polishing with the leather honing wheel, a higher speed is more suitable.
Lower/empty the water reservoir when working with the leather honing wheel disc at high speeds.
Risk of splashing!
Polishing:
Never polish against the direction of the leather honing wheel! Otherwise, the tool will cut into the
leather! Impregnate the leather honing wheel using weak machine oil. Then apply grinding paste

Place the washer (2) and grinding stone (1)
onto the drive shaft and fix it with washer and
nut (2)
Thread the water reservoir (3) under the
grinding stone and hook it into the slots
provided in the housing
Place the leather honing wheel (1) onto the
drive shaft
Pay attention that the slots engage on the
wheel and shaft into each other
Fix the leather honing wheel with washer and
fixing screw (2)
Insert the universal holder (1) into the
required brackets (2) and fix it with fixing
screws (3) in desired position
Slide the tool holder (1) onto the universal
holder (2)
