D Use cooking and frying ware suitable for large hob ranges.
D For optimum energy transmission, only use cookware and frying ware with level and thick
base.
D Only place cooking pots and frying pans on the clean large steel hob.
D Immediately remove any stains, salt, spices, water and food scraps from the large steel hob.
Otherwise, the large steel hob may rust, the removal of which requires extensive cleaning.
D Do not place any wet pots on the large steel hob.
D For dishes requiring large amounts of liquid, use high pots to prevent overboiling.
D If the cooking process allows for this, close the pots with their lids.
D Only set low temperatures for keeping warm and melting fat or butter.

Shut-down
. Clean the device, refer to the following chapter 4. "Cleaning and Maintenance".
Extinguishing the burner flame
. Turn the gas governor to the right down to the limit stop.
D Theburner flame is extinguished.
D The pilot light remains lit.
Extinguishing the pilot lamp - complete shut down of device
. Slightly push the gas governor in and turn it to the "OFF" position
D Thepilot light is extinguished.
D The device is completely shut down.
. Close the gas tap.
For longer operating brakes
E.g. several days or company holidays:
. Close the gas tap at the device.
. Close the customer-provided gas tap (service valve).
