Cleaning the stainless-steel surfaces

. If aggressive cleansers have been used, thoroughly wipe down the cleaned components and
surfaces with a clean, damp dish cloth, without the use of a cleaning agent.
. Clean all stainless-steel surfaces with fat-dissolving cleaning agents or special stainless-
steel care agents.
. Rub the cleaned parts and surfaces dry with a soft cloth.

Malfunctions and Rectification
Should malfunctions occur with the device, please check them with the help of the followingta­
ble:
Malfunction
The pilot light cannot be lit.
The pilot light is extin­
guished upon the gas gov­
ernor's release.
Should you not be able to rectify the malfunction,
- Switch the device off.
- Close the gas tap.
- do not open the housing,
- inform the customer service.
Cause
The gas tap is closed.
The service valve is closed.
The pilot burner is contamin­
ated.
The thermal element is contam­
inated.
The gas governor was not
pressed in long enough.
The thermal element is defect­
ive.
Open
Close
Rectification
Open the gas tap.
Open the service valve.
inform the customer service.
inform the customer service.
Keep the gas governor pressed
for approx. 5 - 10 seconds to
assure the thermal element's
sufficient heating and avoid an
interruption of the gas supply.
