Cleaning and Maintenance
CAUTION! Risk of scalding! Allow appliance to cool down! Wear protective gloves and protective clothing!
D Do not clean the control panel and the gas governor with corrosive cleaning agents!
D
do not pour any liquid into the collection channel or over the cooking surface. Always use a
dish cloth for cleaning and rinse with clear water!
D Do not clean or spray the device with water hoses, high-pressure cleaners, high-pres
suresteam cleaners or steam cleaners!
D Observe the operating instructions of the cleaning agent manufacturers!
D Do not use any scrubbing cleaning agents or damaged cleaning scrapers! They pro
ducescratches.
D Stainless steel may not come into prolonged contact with concentrated acids, essence of
vinegar, salt solution, mustard or spice mixtures. Prolonged contact with these substances
will damage the protective coating. After use, clean and rub dry stainless steel surfaces.
Cleaning and care agents
Suitable cleaning and care agents can be obtained from your customer service.
Such agents include, e.g.:
- Fat-dissolving cleaning agents or special stainless-steel cleaning agents,
- Grill cleaning agents for stainless-steel,
- Preservative stainless-steel care agents,
- Care emulsion for frying surfaces.
4.1
Cleaning the large steel hob
. Clean the large steel hob with water, a little dish liquid and a stainless-steel spiral sponge.
. Remove coarse stains or rust formation from the large steel hob by means of a scrubbing
cleaning agent.
. Rinse the cleaned surfaces with a clean, damp dish cloth, without the use of a cleaning
agent. Then thoroughly rub the surfaces dry.
. Dry the large steel hob by shortly heating it.
. Only prior to longer operating brakes: Apply a thin layer of edible fat or oil to the large steel
hob. Bake the edible fat or oil in at approx. 200°C for approx. 10 minutes.
. During the heating process, switch on the extraction hood or properly air the room.
