Ensure that the ground is level and that any obstacles such as small rocks and stones, any stones with a
round or sloped edge, and branches are removed (Fig. 5 and 6).

Take note of any irregular or curved edges that may require special attention during the layout planning.
•
The machine can navigate slopes up to a maximum of 30% incline or decline. Slope should not be
steeper than 30% / 16.5° (Fig. 7).
•
The boundary wire (19) should never run perpendicular to a gradient of more than 10°. Allow a corridor of
at least 2 metre between a 10° or steeper slope and the boundary wire (19) (Fig. 8).
