BATTERY LOADING AND CHECKING
1. UnscrDw the screw head on the base of the cam¬
era grip and slide out the Battery Compartment
Cover.
X Install four 1.5V AA-size pen light batteries in The
order and according to the polarity diagram
shown inside the battery compartment.
Slide
back the cover into position and turn tfie screw-
head to the right.
• The camera wifi not Function on mercury
batteries or if the batteries are not correctly
installed,
\S\ Check the battery power before each filming bv
depressing the Battery Checker Button.
If the
green lamp lights, both the film drive and ex¬
posure systems will Doerate.
If the green lamp
fails to light, or if the battery power is weak, in
which case the camera will not function properly,
the battorios should be repiacod.
