ject, leaving the surroundings In darkness, align
the red point on the Brightness Control Ring
with the SPOTLIGHT position: for effective ex¬
posure compensation the aperture will close down
approximately one stop.

Backlight Control:
Before filming a scene in
which the light appears from behind the main
subject, align the red point on the Brightness Con-
trot Ring with the BACKLIGHT position, for
effective exposure compensation the aperture wilt
open approximately one stop
