4. „Balancing in single mode" now starts automatically. (status display flashes at one-second intervals.)
Please read the following section for an explanation of the individual operating modes.
5. If the battery pack is to be charged:
Connect the charging connection line of the balancer (5) with the charger output of a LiPo charger.
Connect the black plug with the negative socket and the red plug with the positive socket of the
charger. Ensure that the parameters on the charger are set in accordance with the requirements of
the battery manufacturer.
Pin assignment of battery packs with sense connection:
Before launching the LiPo balancer, ensure correct socket assignment of the
LiPo battery pack to be connected. Otherwise there is a danger that the battery,
balancer and charger will be destroyed.
Example: Battery pack with 3 cells
Sense connection cable of battery pack
Cell 3
Cell 2
Cell 1
Pin 1 on the sense socket is the mass (black sense connection line). The cell voltages must increase
from pin to pin by the range of a cell voltage.
e.g. battery pack with 7 cells of 3.7V each:
Pin 1: 0V , pin 2: 3.7V , pin 3: 7.4V,. . . , pin 8: 25.9V
The balancer has an input for JST-EH sense plugs. If there is a different sense plug on the battery pack,
please use a suitable adapter.
