Intended use

The balancer serves to balance voltage differences within lithium polymer packs. Only lithium polymer
battery charging device must be used for charging. Direct connection to an external voltage source or
another charger is not permitted and may lead to damage to the device and the connected accumulator
packs.
You may not connect any lead/Ni-Cd-/NiMH rechargeable batteries (zinc-carbon, alkaline, etc.).
Observe the polarity for input and output.
Do not use in adverse ambient conditions.
Unfavourable ambient conditions are:
- Excessively high air humidity (> 75 % rel., condensation) or dampness
- Excessively high ambient temperature (> +40°C)
- Dust and flammable gases, vapors, petrols or solvents.
- Strong vibrations.
Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the appliance. Furthermore,
there are dangers such as fire, short circuit, fire, electric shock, etc.
The entrie product must not be changed or converted and the housing must not be opened. The safety
notes and the operating instructions of the lithium polymer charger must be observed.
Observe the safety instructions absolutely!

Safety instructions

Please read the entire operating instructions before using the product for the
first time; they contain important information about the correct operation. The
warranty will be void for damage arising from non-compliance with these operat-
ing instructions. Liability for any and all consequential damage is excluded!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. Under these circum-
stances, any warranty expires.
Due to safety and license reasons (CE) it is not permitted to make alterations and/or changes to the elec-
tric appliances on own authority.
The balancer with the connected batteries and the charger must not be operated without supervision.
Operate the balancer on a noncombustible surface.
To ensure a safe operation the user must follow the safety instructions and warning notices that are
included in these operating instructions.
Chargers and accessories should be kept away from children! They are not toys.
On industrial sites the accident prevention regulations of the association of the industrial workers' soci-
ety for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
In schools, training facilities, hobby and self-help workshops operating the balancer and accessories should
be supervised by qualified trained staff.
Avoid the operation under unfavourable ambient conditions. This damages the sensitive electronics
inside the charger and thereby possibly leads to danger to life of the user.
