3. One assistant should have the patient bend his knees and raise
his head off of the floor.
This assistant should support the patient's head with
a pillow.
4. The other assistant should open the legs of the lift.

5. Position the lift with one leg under the patient's head and the
other leg under the patient's bent knees.
Keep the sling straps inside of the legs of the lift.
