Do not insert the mains plug 10 into a
wall socket until the food processor has
been completely assembled for the intend-
ed purpose.
Insert the mains plug 10 into a wall socket
that corresponds to the technical data on the
rating plate. The wall socket must still be eas-
ily accessible after connection.

Use the dial 11 to switch the device on and
off and select the speed setting:

8. Using the blade
assembly
DANGER! Risk of injury!
The blades of the blade assembly 5 are
very sharp. Do not touch them. Attach
the blade guard 6 when you are not us-
ing the blade assembly 5.
• Removing the blade guard:
Pull the blade guard 6 in the middle
slightly away from the blade assem-
bly 5 and remove this by pulling up-
wards.
• Attaching the blade guard:
Place the blade assembly 5 into the
blade guard 6 from the top. Make sure
that both blades are completely protect-
ed.
Application area:
The blade assembly 5 is suitable for chop-
ping onions, herbs, vegetables, fruit, hard
cheese (e.g. Parmesan) and meat.
