NOTE: stop the mixing process if the ingre-
dients are not being processed evenly
enough. Open the lid 14 and push the in-
gredients from the edge to the middle with a
spatula or something similar. When mixing
dry ingredients you can also remove the
closed blender jug 13 and shake it a little.
12. When the process is completed, switch
the dial 11 to 0 and pull out the mains
plug 10.
13. Turn the lid 14 slightly in an anticlock-
wise direction and remove it.
14. Turn the blender jug 13 slightly anti-
clockwise and remove it.
15. Carefully remove the processed ingredi-
ents from the blender jug 13.
16. Clean all of the accessories that have
been used immediately if possible.

13. Cleaning and
servicing the device
DANGER! Risk of electric

Disconnect the mains plug 10 from the
wall socket before each cleaning.
Never immerse the base unit 12 in wa-
ter.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
Please note that the blades of the blend-
er jug 13, the blade assembly 5 and
the grater and cutting disc 16 are very
sharp. Never touch the blades with your
bare hands in order to avoid cuts.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Never use any abrasive, corrosive or
scouring cleaning agents. These might
damage the device.
NOTE: certain foods or spices (e.g. curry)
may discolour the plastic. This is not a de-
vice error and is harmless to health.
13.1 Cleaning the base unit
1. Clean the base unit 12 with a damp
cloth. You can also use a little deter-
gent.
2. Then wipe off with a clean, moist, light
cloth with clean water.
3. Do not use the base unit 12 until it is
completely dry again.
