8. After blending wait until standstill be-
fore you remove the blade, then pull the
mains plug 1 and take the blender 3
out of the food.
9. Clean the device immediately if possible.
NOTE: if the blender 3 builds up a suction
and adheres to the bottom of the vessel, re-
lease the power button 5 or TURBO 4
briefly.
7. Cleaning
Clean the device prior to its first use!
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
Pull the mains plug 1 out of the wall
socket before you clean the device.
The motor unit 2, power cable and
mains plug 1 must not be immersed into
water or other liquids.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
When washing manually, the water
should be sufficiently clear that you can
see the blade easily.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
Wiping off
Wipe off the motor unit 2 using a slightly
damp cloth.
Dishwasher / Washing off
• The blender 3 can be ...
... cleaned in the dishwasher, or
... washed by hand in warm water with
detergent. Afterwards, rinse the
blender 3 with clean water.
• Dry all parts carefully, before reassem-
bling the device and storing it.

Some cleaning tips
• Preferably clean the blender 3 immedi-
ately after use, to prevent food residues
from drying on and sticking to the hand
blender.
• After processing very salty foodstuffs,
the blender 3 should be rinsed immedi-
ately.
8. Storage
DANGER for children!
Keep the device out of the reach of chil-
dren.
DANGER!
In order to avoid accidents, the mains
plug 1 must never be connected to a
wall socket while in storage.
• Select a location where neither high
temperatures nor moisture can affect the
device.
