8 Operation
8.2 Manual operation
The device is operated in manual mode (deactivated automatic start/stop mechanism) as follows:
To deactivate the automatic start/stop

mechanism, set the <Auto/Manual> switch
to <Manual>.
Set the <On/Off> switch to <On>.
2.
The filter membranes are cleaned once.
Continuous extraction is started.
Running the cleaning process
The filter membranes must be cleaned regularly to maintain continuous extraction. The cleaning
interval depends on the welding process. We recommend that the filter membranes are cleaned
every 2 hours, however no later than when the service LED illuminates. The service life of the filter
membranes can be lengthened if they are cleaned before the service LED illuminates.
Briefly set the <On/Off> switch to <Off>.

Set the <On/Off> switch to <On>.
2.
The filter membranes are cleaned once.
Continuous extraction is started.
