Troubleshooting

Cause
Initialisation error
Faulty wiring
Insufficient power supply
Transmitter defective
Initialisation error
Sensor unit contacts are damp
Sensor unit defective (membrane) Replace sensor unit
Sensor unit spent
Measured value lower than
minimum lower limit
Measured value higher than
maximum upper limit
Calibration not correct
Check the measured value (see "Checking measured value",
page 46)
If deviation less than 10% check whether the correction values
on the DULCOMETER
above sea level, humidity, air temperature and (if appropriate) salt
content are correct (are the corresponding measurements
correct?)
Check the zero point (see "Checking zero point", page 46)
Any further errors, see operating instructions manual for the display
device.
Troubleshooting
Remedy
Switch off for 5 sec., hold sensor
downward and switch on
Check wiring
Check input voltage at transmitter
(input voltage must be greater
than 12 V).
Replace transmitter
Switch off for 5 sec., hold sensor
downward and switch on
Dry the contacts of the transmitter
and the sensor unit (e.g. use a
hairdryer)
Replace sensor unit
