The atmospheric pressure and therefore the height above sea level,
the relative humidity of the surrounding atmosphere and the
temperature, influence the measured O
air. The salt content also influences the measured O
It is possible to compensate for this to a great extent with the

DULCOMETER D1C (see "Measurement parameters setting?" menu
in the operating instructions manual for DULCOMETER

The table shows the factory settings of the DULCOMETER
measured variable oxygen, for these measured variables and their
influence on the measured O
these factory settings.
At the measurement point measure the atmospheric pressure, the
atmospheric humidity pressure, the air and water temperature using
normal metering devices.
Determine the salt content either in the laboratory or by means of
continuous conductivity metering using the corresponding conver-
sion.
For greater accuracy
Determine the actual atmospheric pressure value related to the sea
level from an official meteorological station or a reliable homepage
(look for height above sea level value) related to a point in the
immediate vicinity (do not use a map, too imprecise).
In high areas the height above sea level must be entered for
accurate atmospheric pressure compensation.
In order to guarantee obtaining the most accurate possible O
values, even between calibration intervals, enter actual values at the

DULCOMETER D1C if the set values of the maximum stated
parameter are very different from the actual values.
