Risk caused by key inside the profile cylinder!
If there is a key inside the profile cylinder that ist not removed, there is risk of
malfunctions.
•
The key of the profile cylinder must always be removed.
•
The profile cylinder is for emergency opening only.
Planning may only be carried out by DIALOCK specialists. Door fittings for fire and
smoke protection closures must be approved by the door manufacturer. Otherwise
the approval of the fire or smoke protection closure will be invalidated.
14.6
Maintenance instructions
In order to ensure that the equipment is usable in accordance with this document, the following
routine maintenance checks must be carried out at intervals of no more than one month:
•
Inspection and actuation of the emergency exit device in order to ensure that all components
of the lock are in a satisfactory operating condition.
•
The actuation force for releasing the panic exit device must be measured using
a dynamometer and recorded.
•
It must be ensured that the locking counterpieces (striking plates) are not blocked or clogged
up.
•
It must be checked that no additional locking devices have been attached to the door.
•
It must be checked at regular intervals whether all components of the system still correspond
with the list of permissible components that were originally delivered with the system.
•
Check regularly whether the operating device is correctly tigthened. The actuation force for
releasing the panic exit device must be measured using a dynamometer. It must be checked
whether the actuation force has undergone a major change in comparison with the operating
force recorded during the initial installation.
15. Storage
Store packages under the following conditions:
•
Do not store outdoors.
•
Store in a dry and dust-free place.
•
Do not expose to aggressive media.
•
Protect against sun exposure.
•
Avoid mechanical vibrations.
•
Maintain the storage temperature: - 25 °C to + 70 °C
•
Observe the relative humidity: max. 95%, not condensed
If there are further storage instructions provided in the product packaging, be sure
to comply with these also.
16. Disposal
Do not dispose of the appliance in household waste.
