1. Press the button (14) next to the
charge level indicator button (13) on
the battery (12).
The LEDs of the charge level indicator
show how much charge remains in the
battery.
2. Charge the battery (12) when only the
red LED on the charge level indicator
(13) is illuminated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool be-
fore charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light for long periods and do not place
it on a radiator (max. 50°C).

Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (12) from the
device.
2. Push the battery (12) into the charging
slot of the battery charger (15).
3. Connect the battery charger (15) to a
power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the battery
charger (15) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (12) out of the battery
charger (15).

General Information
• For safe and proper use of the device,
the following are required (not in-
cluded):
• Suitable personal protective equip-
ment
• Protective gloves, if necessary ad-
ditional latex or rubber gloves (see
Safety instructions for drain clean-
ers, p. 28)
• Hex key (H5)
• Before operation, familiarise yourself
with the retraction/extension, speed
control and direction of rotation of the
cleaning spiral (1) (see Control ele-
ments, p. 29).
