2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Before each use, wash your hands thoroughly and clean the nasal douche and its components
as indicated in paragraph 3. Hygienic preparation.
• Care should be taken during application because the solution may drip from the nose.
2.1 - Before use, insert the batteries as indicated in paragraph 1.
2.2 - For correct use of the nasal douche, the symbol of the person ( ) (4c), located on the ampoule
body (4), must always be directed towards the patient. The ampoule can be attached with the
position of the person on the same side as the dispensing button (5a) allowing operation of the
nasal douche with the thumb, or with the person on the opposite side of the button for operation
with the index finger.
In order to obtain one of the above conditions, the moment you start screwing the ampoule body
(4) clockwise onto the douche compressor body (5) (fig. C), the person symbol must be on the
opposite side to the position you want to obtain (fig. C).
2.3 - Pour the solution (max. 15 ml) into the atomisation chamber (4a) of the ampoule body, as shown
in (fig. E). Also check the presence of the atomiser (3).
2.4 - Apply the separator (2) by aligning the dot (2a) with the person symbol ( ) (4c) on the outside of
the ampoule body (4), as shown in (fig. F). Then insert the nasal adapter most suitable for the size
of your nostrils (1A-1B-1C).
2.5 - Insert the hole of the nasal adapter into a nostril (Fig. G).
2.6 - Operate the nasal douche by holding down the dispensing button (5a) during the inhalation
phase and release it before exhaling; during this phase, to help expel mucus, blow gently through
the nostril treated with the nasal douche, keeping the other nostril closed.
2.7 - Even during atomisation, it is preferable to keep the other nostril where the spray is not applied,
