Place the appliance on a flat surface, e.g. a
kitchen worktop, and make sure it is stable.
Ensure that the protective cover (11) is fit-
ted to the accessory socket (12).
Turn the arm release button (14) while lift-
ing the swivel arm (13) by hand until it
locks into place with a click. The swivel arm
tilts up.
Now place the ingredients required in the
mixing bowl (23).
Place the mixing bowl (23) into the recess
on the motor housing (16).
Turn the mixing bowl (23) slightly clockwise
until it locks into position.
If you want to use the splashguard (19),
you must place it on the mixing bowl (23)
now.
