• PRODUCT FEATURE

o
This Fondue Set is ideally suited for Fondue Chinoise (with bouillon) or Fondue Bour-
guignonne (with oil).

• BEFORE USING THE FONDUE SET FOR THE FIRST TIME

o
Carefully take all of the parts out of the packaging.
o
Wash the fondue pan, the forks and the holder for the forks with a soft cloth and a
little bit of soapy water. Never use sharp or abrasive cleaning products.
o
Only wipe the rechaud with a damp cloth.
o
Allow all the parts to dry completely.

• HOW TO USE YOUR FONDUE SET

o
Place the rechaud on a table or another even surface.
o
Before plugging it in, make sure that the thermostat knob is not turned on (on MIN
setting completely to the left).
o
Fill the pan with the ingredients you want and place it on the rechaud.
o
Make sure when you are making Fondue Bourgignon that you only fill the oil up to
the MAX level marked on the pan.
o
The indicator light lights up blue. Now turn the rechaud on by turning the thermostat
knob to the temperature you want.
o
The indicator light will turn red. When the light turns blue, this means that the set
temperature has been reached. Please note that the indicator light will switch be-
tween red and blue during the cooking process. This means that the temperature is
always maintained at a constant.
o
When the liquid has reached the set temperature, you can put the fork holder on the
pan and start the fondue.

• NOTE

o
CAUTION: The rechaud, the pan and the fork holder become very hot during use.
o
Fondues with hot oil: Take extra care to make sure the food is not wet or frozen; this
can make the oil froth up.
