 STARTING UP THE APPLIANCE
o
Before using your sandwich grill for the first time, wipe the plates with a damp cloth
and dry them thoroughly. Next, rub a little oil, grease or butter onto the plates.
 PREPARING THE SANDWICHES TO BE TOASTED
o
Use special toasting bread.
o
Spread both halves with butter to your liking.
o
Put a slice of ham/meat and cheese or some fruit on one slice and then cover it with
the other slice. Make sure that the filling does not hang over the edge of the
sandwich and that it is not too thick in the middle of the bread.
 MAKING TOAST
o
Close the grill and plug in the appliance. The yellow light (POWER ON) and the green
light (READY) will light up.
o
When the green light goes out, this means that the grill has reached the right
temperature.
o
Open the grill and put your sandwiches inside. Carefully close the grill until the
clamp latches shut.
o
As they are toasting, both sandwiches are divided into two triangular pieces with
sealed edges.
o
Your toasties will be ready after approx. 3 minutes. Open the grill and take the
toasties out with a wooden or plastic spatula. Caution: Do not use any metallic
utensils because they will damage the non-stick surface.
o
After use - You must unplug the appliance.
 CLEANING
o
Before cleaning the appliance, always pull the plug out and let the appliance cool
down.
o
Only rub the plates with paper towels or a dry cloth.
o
Never use abrasive cleaning agents. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth.
 DISPOSAL
o
For proper disposal, the unit is to return to the dealer, the service agent or the
company Rotel AG.
