Never point the transmitter aerial directly onto the vehicle. It will strongly decrease the range. The maximum range will
be achieved when the aerial of the transmitter and vehicle are both vertical and in parallel with each other.
If the vehicle tends to pull to the left or right when driving even though you are steering straight ahead, set the trim for
the steering accordingly at the transmitter using the trim controller "STEERING TRIM" (figure 1, item 5).
Stop driving immediately if the vehicle shows any unusual responses to the remote commands or if the vehicle does
not respond at all. This behaviour could be caused by low rechargeable batteries in the vehicle, low batteries in the
remote control or by too big a distance between vehicle and remote control.
A damaged telescopic aerial, interference on the radio channel used (e.g. radio transmissions from other devices,
Bluetooth, WLAN) or adverse transmission/reception conditions may also cause unusual responses of the vehicle.
Since the receiver is supplied with power via the rechargeable batteries in the vehicle, weak or flat rechargeable bat-
teries will cause unintentional movement of the vehicle (e.g. twitching of the steering servo, etc.).
For example, the voltage of the rechargeable batteries in the vehicle decreases for a short time under full throttle, so
that the receiver will no longer receive the required operating voltage. The vehicle will speed up, but the steering servo
does not react properly. Then stop operating the vehicle at once and use two new, fully charged rechargeable batteries
in the vehicle (after a break to let the speed controller/motor cool off).
h) Stopping the Vehicle
To stop driving, proceed as follows:
• Let go of the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter so that it goes into the middle position (neutral position), and let
the vehicle run out.
• When the vehicle has stopped, switch off the vehicle. Never touch the wheels or the drive mechanism, and make
sure you do not move the throttle/brake lever at the transmitter!
Attention!
The motor, the speed controller and batteries grow hot during operation! Do not touch these parts immedi-
ately after operation. Danger of burns!
• Switch off the transmitter.
• Remove the two rechargeable batteries from the vehicle if the vehicle is no longer used.
