Description/Destination
The device is intended only for the treatment
of the indications listed and for patients whose
measurements correspond to the sizing table.
Aerated and breathable Combitex fabric. ❶
Abdominal panels with self-fastening surface and
finger-loops. ❷
Additional removable strap with finger-loops. ❸
Conformable dorsal stays. ❹
Composition
Textile components: polyamide - polyester - elastane -
polyurethane.
Non-textile components: brushed tempered steel -
polyoxymethylene - polypropylene - polyethylene.
Properties/Mode of action
The device relieves low back pain by supporting the
spine through an increased intra-abdominal pressure
which eases the load on the intervertebral discs.
Indications
Non-specific low back pain (acute, subacute and
chronic phases). Prevention of recurrent low back
pain in combination with return to activity and/or
therapeutic information.
Spinal stenosis.
Spine stability.
Resumption of activity.
Contraindications
Do not use in the event of known allergy to any of
the components.
*Do not use on pregnant women.
Do not use in the event of a hiatus hernia.
Do not use in the event of bone cancer with spinal
metastases.
Do not use in the event of circulatory, pulmonary
or cardiovascular problems in patients for whom
an increase in arterial blood pressure is not
recommended.
Precautions
Verify the product's integrity before every use.
Do not use the product if it is damaged.

Wear the device above thin clothing.
Strictly comply with your healthcare professional's
prescription and recommendations for use.
This product is intended for the treatment of a
given condition. Its duration of use is limited to this
treatment only.
Do not wear the product while sleeping.
In the event of discomfort, significant hindrance,
pain, abnormal sensations, remove the device and
consult a healthcare professional.
The use of a medical device by a child, should
be done under the supervision of an adult or a
healthcare professional.
Measure the waist circumference of the patient at the
mi-distance between the iliac crests and floating ribs.
Choose the appropriate size to fit the patient,
referring to the size chart.
It is recommended that a healthcare professional
supervises the first application.
For hygiene, security and performance reasons, do
not re-use the product for another patient.
Do not wear the product in a medical imaging machine.
Undesirable side-effect
This device can cause skin reactions (redness, itching,
irritations...).
Any serious incidents occurring related to the device
should be reported to the manufacturer and to the
competent authority of the Member State in which
the user and/or patient is resident.
Instructions for use/Application
It is recommended that a healthcare professional
adjust the stays to the shape of the patient's back
before the belt is worn for the first time. ⓐ
Position the belt around the waist, using the finger
loops located on the front panels. Ⓐ
The Thuasne logo indicates which way up the belt
should be put on.
Pull the finger loops on the abdominal panels
simultaneously and evenly.
Fasten the belt, right side over left side, adjusting to
the desired compression. Ⓑ
The belt must be centred on the spine: the dorsal
stays should be positioned on either side of the
spine. Ⓒ
The bottom of the belt must stop at the top of the
crease between the buttocks. Ⓒ
For a targeted compression, use the additional strap.
Position the additional strap on the painful area. Ⓓ
Pull the finger loops on the additional strap
simultaneously and evenly. Ⓔ
Attach the self-fastening parts of the additional strap
onto the belt's abdominal panels or place them on
top of each other. Ⓕ
The level of compression can be adjusted as required
throughout the day.
Care/Maintenance
Product can be washed in accordance with the
instructions shown on this leaflet and on the label.
Close the self-fastening tabs before washing.
