COOKING ADVICE
•
If you wish to use your appliance as a conventional grill, simply do not place the container
the liquid. The heat will come into direct contact with your food.
•
You can use both cooking grids at the same time. If you choose to use only one cooking grid, it is
recommended to use the upper grid for easy access to the food.
•
Always cook with the lid on the smoker.
•
Use the ventilation flaps to regulate the temperature in the smoker. If you notice an increase in tem-
perature, add hot water to the tank. Do not use water to extinguish the embers as this may damage
the smoker.
•
When adding charcoal briquettes, check the tank and add liquid if necessary to fill the tank. Use the
door at the front of the smoker to add charcoal or liquid.
MAINTENANCE
•
Wait until the smoker and charcoal have cooled completely before emptying the ashes.
•
After each use, remove the grates and store them in a clean, dry place.
•
It is not necessary to wash the grill after each use. Simply remove any residue with a brass brush or
crumpled aluminium foil, and then wipe the grate with paper towels.
•
About once a year clean the smoker with a mild detergent and water. Rinse with clean water and
wipe dry.
