CHANGING GUN MODES
8.1
CONVERTING TO A SINGLE PIN TRIGGER
The trigger on your HVLP spray gun can be converted to a
single pin setup for a softer pull. Trigger pull is reduced by
removing the upper trigger pin and operating the gun with
only the lower trigger pin in place. This setup reduces finger
fatigue and provides greater control when spraying thin, light
viscosity materials such as stains, varnishes, and sealers.
1. Remove the retaining clip (Fig. 22, item1) on the upper
trigger pin by placing the flat edge of a screwdriver
between the clip and the pin and gently prying it off.
2. Pull the trigger pin (2) out from the opposite side of the
gun.

USING A PRESSURE FEED SYSTEM
To increase spray time between material refills, your HVLP spray
gun can be connected to a larger material pressure pot and air
compressor.
CONVERTING THE GUN TO PRESSURE FEED
Before using a pressure feed system, the spray gun must be
converted to a pressure fed gun.
1. Loosen the retaining nut (Fig. 23, item 1) using a wrench
and remove the one quart cup assembly (2).
2. Pull the air tube (3) off of the air tube fitting on the spray
gun.

3. Remove the air tube (Fig. 24, item 1) fitting using a wrench.
4. Thread the set screw (2) into the air tube fitting location
CONNECTING TO A 2-QUART REMOTE PRESSURE POT
2
1. Convert the gun to pressure feed (see steps above).
2. Connect hoses:

and tighten into place.
1
a. Make sure turbine is turned OFF and unplugged.
b. Attach remote pressure pot to the turbine via the hose
configuration shown in figure 25.
c. Tighten the air hose connections by hand.
b. Tighten the fluid hose connections with an adjustable
wrench.
