10.3.13 "Thermostat" function
When the appliance is controlled by an external
thermostat (or chronothermostat), the installer
must turn it on using the "On" button
164
and connect it to the EP 10 connector on the
electronic board as shown in the figure.
Manually proceed with replacing the room probe
with the external thermostat, by changing the
wiring (optional kit).
Stand-by On: the appliance switches off when
the external thermostat is satisfied (open circuit);
the appliance turns back on automatically when
the temperature drops below the value set on
the external thermostat (closed circuit).
Stand-by Off: the appliance will go to the
minimum or maximum power depending on the
status of the thermostat.
The first time it is switched on, or if it was
switched off directly from the appliance, it is
necessary to proceed with switching on the
appliance directly from the control panel.
Connect an open/closed external thermostat,
therefore potential-free. This installation must

be carried out by a specialist technician.
The "Remote control" screen displays the status of
the thermostat instead of the room temperature.
