Assembly instructions
Connection to supply hose
n
1/ Connect the nozzle to the refuelling hose.
Use PTFE tape (recommended : 2 or 3 turns).
Max. recommended torque:
60 N.m. (44,3 lb.ft).
2/ Check for leakage of connections.
3/ Proceed to a refuelling test.
Servicing
Every month or if the nozzle is blocked:
- Spray WD40 type lubricant on the locking sleeve and/or the front sleeve.
WD 40 Specialist Spray and Stay Gel lubricant can also be used.

User maintenance

Every 12 month or in case of damage: replace the front seal (part-number R 038 875 41) and
the spring (part-number R 138 857 00).
To replace the front seal and the spring

1/ Remove the 2 screws at the
front of the nozzle.
3/ Pull out the worn seal with
a needle.
Guiding tube
6/ Replace the guiding tube
and the locking sleeve.

2/ Remove the front and the locking sleeves, the spring, as well as the guiding tube
and the guiding sleeve.

4/ Put the new seal back into place. Pay
attention not put the seal upside down.
Seal part-number: R 038 875 41

IMPORTANT! the flat part
of the control rod has to be
placed at the inner side.
Checking for leakage of connections

By means of leak detector fluid.
1/ Pressurize the device being leak checked.
2/ Apply leak detecction fluid to all gas connections.
3/ Check for bubbles.
Conform to the instructions of the leak detector fluid
manufacturer for the interpretation of test results.
4/ Proceed to a refuelling test to the min. and max.
pressures available on the dispenser.

7/ Put the new spring back into
place. Then, put the front sleeve back
into place while pushing on the spring.
Spring part-number: R 138 857 00
Guiding sleeve
Guiding tube
5/ Put the guiding
sleeve back into
place.
8/ Replace the 2 screws.
Use a thread
locking compound
Loctite 542 or
Loctite 242.
9/ Tight the screws.
Recommended torque:
5 N.m (3,7 lb.ft).
