ADJUSTING THE CUTTING DECK
A level deck is essential for a uniform cut over the whole lawn.
With the mower on a flat surface, check that the tyre pressure is correct, check the float spring tension, and if
necessary turn the adjuster screw (fig. 7 "D").
If a satisfactory parallel setup cannot be achieved, adjust the register n° 14 fig. 2.
To adjust the mowing height, set the lever n° 6 fig. 1/B on the lowest setting, fit two 30 mm shims at the sides
under the edge of the deck and set the wire fig. 2 and 2/A n.12 taut.
Every 20 hours lubricate with fat the front wheels pins.
DRIVE BELTS - HYDROSTATIC AXLE
These belts are self-adjusting and do not require any adjustment, Simply check the spring tension, to replace
the belts, release the tension spring (fig. 14 "G").
PTO BELT
Caution! This belt is special, use only original belts.
To replace, proceed as already explained for replacement of the engine-hydrostatic axle belt (upper springx fig.
14 "G"):
1) Remove the guard above the deck by unscrewing the two screws fig. 2 n° 13.
2) Remove the pin bolt fig. 12 "E".
3) Turn the lever clockwise fig. 12 "C".
4) Remove the PTO belt fig. 12 "F".
The PTO belt does not have to be adjusted as it is self-adjusting.
