Gas cooking
Set the thermostat knob (D) between Min (160 °C) and Max (260 °C).
The oven burner will turn on (see page 14 - Gas cooking temperature knob) at the base of the oven
compartment.
Gas cooking with rotisserie
Set the thermostat knob (D) between Min (160 °C) and Max (260 °C).
The oven burner will turn on (see page 14 - Gas cooking temperature knob) at the base of the oven
compartment and the rotisserie will start running. To use the rotisserie, see the rotisserie instruction in this
booklet.
Grill mode
Set the thermostat knob (D) to
The grill heating element at the top of the oven switches on. In this case the fast infrared surface cooking
keeps the meat tender on the inside; the grill can also be used to quickly toast up to 9 slices of bread.
Franke ovens, for safety reasons, are intended to grill food with the oven door completely closed.
However, during cooking, the door can be kept fully or partially open (use the half-open door position).
Caution: The grill heating element is very hot when in use; be careful not to touch it accidentally when handling
the food to be grilled; in any case, Franke has designed the oven opening to protect hands as much as possible.
Grill with rotisserie
Set the thermostat knob (D) to
The grill heating element at the top of the oven and the rotisserie switch on. The direct high temperature of
the grill quickly browns the surface of the food while keeping it tender inside. To use the rotisserie, see the
rotisserie instruction in this booklet.
"Roof" cooking
Set the thermostat knob (D) to
The top (roof) heating element switches on. This function is suitable for small adjustments to cooking.
Important
For safety reasons, the oven has been designed to prevent the use of electrical heating elements when cooking with gas.

Rotisserie
To turn on the rotisserie, proceed as follows:
a) place the drip-tray on the first shelf;
b) insert the rotisserie support on the third shelf and position the spit, inserting
it in the holes in the back of the oven, then unscrew the plastic handle (M);
c) turn on the rotisserie by setting knob (B) as described in the "Grill with
rotisserie" and "Gas cooking with rotisserie" sections.
Important: the oven door is hot when the oven is in use. Do not allow children to
touch it.
Important
When using the grill with or without rotisserie, place the provided drip tray (F)
on the lowest shelf to collect the juice and fat produced during cooking.
Using the oven in manual mode
In case of electrical power failure, the oven gas burner can be ignited manually:
a) open the oven door;
b) light a flame near to the ignition hole at the base of the oven (see figure). Press and turn the knob (D) anticlockwise
to

Since the oven is equipped with a safety device, hold the knob (D) in for five seconds after the burner ignites;
c) once the burner is lit, close the oven door.
Caution: If the burner should accidentally go out, close knob (D), open the oven door to its full extent and wait at least a
minute before lighting it again.
