7. USEFUL RECOMMENDATIONS
7.1. Qualifi cation of installing technicians
WARNING
A qualifi ed technician must perform the installation and fi rst start up of the appli-
ance, in line with the relevant national regulations in eff ect, and any other require-
ment set out by the local governments or public health institutions.
The heat pump hot water tank contains R134a cooling agent of the quantity required
for its operation. The cooling fl uid does not damage the ozone layer of the atmos-
phere, it is not fl ammable or explosive, but only authorized personnel is allowed to
perform any maintenance or repair work on the cooling circuit using adequate equip-
ment.
7.2. Use of the Installation, Operating and Maintenance Manual
WARNING
Improper installation may cause injuries to people or animals, or cause damages in
objects. The manufacturer assumes no liability for these.
The person performing installation of the appliance must observe the instructions of
the manual. After fi nishing the installation, the person performing it must provide in-
formation and guidance to the user as to the operation of the water heater and the
proper execution of main operations.
7.3. Inspection of the heat pump water heater
When moving the appliance or opening its packaging, please, follow the instructions
laid down under Clauses 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 of the chapter GENERAL INFORMATION
carefully.
During the removal of the packaging, please, check the integrity of the appliance and
that all necessary parts are located in the package.
