5.6. Function buttons
BOOST
You can use the BOOST mode when you want the sanitary hot water in the tank to
be heated to the water temperature set as soon as possible. In this case, the appli-
ance heats up the water in the tank by simultaneously using both energy sources
(heat pump and electrical heating). During the process, you can set/adjust the desired
temperature at any time. You can exit BOOST mode at any time selecting a diff erent
mode. Once the desired water temperature has been reached, the appliance auto-
matically exits BOOST mode, and switches to the mode used immediately before the
BOOST mode.
On Holiday (frost protection) mode
You are advised to set the frost protection mode, when you will not use the appliance
for an extended period. It will cause the appliance to consume the lowest possible en-
ergy volume, while running the given mode.
In frost protection mode, the control keeps water temperature at minimum 4 °C en-
suring that no freezing may occur along its water pipeline.
If this mode is selected, the number of days spent on holiday is not defi ned by default.
In this case, the appliance will operate in this mode from its selection to the selection
of a diff erent mode.
You can set the days spent on holiday using the
and
buttons. Then, the appli-
ance will run in frost protection mode until the number of days set expires.
Setting the time
You should set this function fi rst, before using any preset program on the appliance.
Select the clock mode to set the hour, minutes and actual date. In Time Setting mode,
the display shows the actual time and date in rotation.
By pressing the
button, you can change the value displayed.
The values can be changed by pressing the
or
button, and then, you can save
the value set by pressing the
button.
