5.6. Heat exchanger frost prevention strategy
Aldes recommends the use of an electric coil to reduce this risk. In addition, the unit is equipped with a logic to prevent the formation of frost in the heat
exchanger if the coil is not sufficient to guarantee an outside air temperature <-3° Celsius. When "PassivHaus" mode is activated in the Installer > Settings >
Certifications menu, unbalance is not allowed. The unit may therefore have to switch off both motors temporarily. In "non PassivHaus" mode, the unit can reduce
flow rates and then simply extract air from the dwelling to heat the heat exchanger (by temporarily stopping the supply air motor).
5.7. Weekly programming
InspirAIR® TOP offers three weekly programs for a quick adaptation of ventilation according to inhabitants needs: Classic - Eco - Comfort. Indoor air sensors
will continue to take the lead if some are installed (for example CO2 sensor in the controller).
